sunset

Thought I'd give you all a visual counter-response to the images you're probably seeing there. :) This is our nightly "ritual," watching the sunset from one of the hills at Yad Ha-shmona - VERY peaceful. This is what things are like here for our group; we learn Hebrew and watch sunsets. That's about it. :)

I appreciate everyone's concern and prayers. Yes, we are keeping up with what's going on. Right now it's Friday late afternoon/early evening and we're all sitting around with our laptops and Bibles. :) I think we've started our Shabbat a couple hours early - no one is doing homework. :)

Monday through Wednesday of next week we are scheduled to be on a field trip to SOUTH Galilee, barring further complications. So if we go, I won't be online for several days, so don't worry. I do have an Israel cell phone, so if anyone wants the number who does not already have it, send me an email in the next day or so. I have free incoming calls, although I have no idea how expensive it might be on that end! :)

Meanwhile, thanks for all the notes, both here and over email. Keep 'em coming - it's a great encouragement to hear from you all, even if it's just to say "hi." You can be praying for me that I find a good place to stay for my last two weeks here.

Hope you are all doing well. Love you! Miss you!
E :)
