"the situation"
Hi, All,
I'm sure the "situation" here with Lebanon has made the news there, so just a note to let you all know we are safe and doing just fine, quite busy stuffing our brains full of Hebrew. :) Our teachers/coordinators have our safety as priority, so next week we will not be visiting some places we were originally going to, but other than that, all is "normal" (if one can use that word at all when in a foreign country! :) )

Hi Erin,
We're praying for you. Meg called me last night and asked if I'd heard anything about you and whether you were safe. I had just read your blog so I could tell her what you'd said. I'll keep watch on your blog (as I have been doing anyway!) for updates.
